Rates are generally based on the number of words in the source document (document to be translated). Other factors include:
- Level of Service 1, 2, or 3: See "Service Levels" below.
- Deadline: Typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days.
- Editing documents translated by others
- Proofreading documents translated & edited by others
- Translation of graphic elements with embedded text (ex. PowerPoint slides)
- Some scanned images/documents with irregular text
Service Levels:
- Level 1) Information Purposes: Your document is for information purposes. We will make a simple translation that is translated, edited and proofread by 1 specialist.
- Level 2) Distribution Purposes: Your document is to be distributed to several parties. The translation process will involve 2 specialists: the translator and an editor who will ensure that the content and form are perfectly consistent with the source document.
- Level 3) Publication Purposes: Your document is to be posted online or published. The translation process will involve 3 specialists: the translator, an editor and a proofreader who will fine-tune your document for quality control.
Payment Terms
- New Clients: As soon as payment is received, we will begin working on your document.
- Regular clients: Invoices are sent at the end of the month, payable within 10 days.
- Agencies: Negotiable.
